Consumer Health Data

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Some US state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act, protect “consumer health data”: information linked or reasonably linkable to you that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health. This page explains what Gods Elf LLC (“Gods Elf,” “we,” “us”) collects that could count, why, who sees it, and how to use your rights. It adds to our privacy policy.

What we collect

We don’t ask about your health. What could still count as consumer health data:

  • Your orders. Blackout is a sleep patch, so buying it can say something about your sleep.
  • The bedtime you choose on our site. It stays in your browser, and goes with your order if you set one.
  • What your device tells us. The pages you visit, such as pages about sleep.

Why we collect it

To take and deliver your order, to run your subscription, to answer you when you write to us, and to keep the site working. With your consent, also to see which pages people read and to show you Gods Elf on other sites.

Where it comes from

From you, when you order or write to us, and from your browser or device when you use the site.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which runs our store and checkout, and its payment partners.
  • USPS, to deliver your order.
  • Our email service, if you sign up for our letters.
  • With your consent only: analytics and advertising partners, such as Google and Meta.

We don’t sell consumer health data.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, to see it and the list of everyone we shared it with, to delete it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to care@gods-elf.com with “Consumer health data” in the subject. We answer within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and if your appeal is denied, you can contact your state’s attorney general.
